SCHEDULING CONFLICTS & DAYS OF PLAY
Sorry, this tournament is played in 3 days and WE DO NOT TAKE REQUESTS regarding
scheduling times. ALL PLAYERS ENTERING THIS TOURNAMENT MUST PLAY ACCORDING TO
OUR SCHEDULE AND NEED TO LEAVE ALL THREE DAYS FREE (FROM 12 NOON ON FRIDAY TO THE
CONCLUSION OF THE TOURNAMENT ON SUNDAY). The scheduling of matches and dates played is predicated on
the number of players in the event, and until entries close we cannot determine
when matches will be held (read below for an estimate). Therefore, we do not
accept requests for time problems. The largest draws will most likely start
first with some draws having the potential of two matches played in one day
(draws with more than 16 players or teams). Below is a likely scheduling
planner based on the number of participants in their event: 17-32 players -
Number of rounds = 5. 1st & 2nd rounds will be played on Friday, July 27 (draws of this size will most likely have two rounds of play on Friday with matches
starting early). With 9-16 players - Number of rounds = 4. 1st round of play will start on Friday, July 27 and possibly the second round as well.
Divisions with 5-8 players – Number of rounds = 3. 1st round of play will begin on July 27 or 28. Divisions with 3-4 players - Number of rounds = 2 will start of July 28 or July 29. All Finals and a number of semi final matches will be held
on Sunday, July 29 (barring rain). The actual days of play may or may not be reflected by the provided example.
|
ALL NTRP ENTRIES ARE CLOSED EXCEPT FOR THE WOMEN'S 5.0 DOUBLES AND THE OPEN WOMEN'S DOUBLES EVENTS.
Players interested in participating in the 5.0 Women's Doubles or Open Women's divisions listed above need to contact the tournament director ASAP via phone. ALL NTRP ENTRIES ARE CLOSED.

Open players may enter one singles and one doubles event or they may enter two doubles events (Open men's and Open mixed or Open women's and Open mixed). NTRP RATINGS FOR PARTICIPATION - NO SPLIT DIVISIONS ALLOWED
Players cannot play below their USTA NTRP
rating. If a player does not have a USTA rating, they must play at or above
their club rating. All ratings are subject to verification! Non-disclosure or
false information regarding a player’s rating will result in disqualification
and forfeiture of entry fee at any time during the tournament. The rating
Committee reserves the right to reclassify or disqualify any player or team,
regardless of their club rating, or SELF USTA NTRP rating if determined to be
overqualified for the division they enter (even during the tournament).
Classification of the stronger player will determine the classification of a
doubles team. NTRP events are open to players 19 years or older. Junior players

If you ignore this and split entry fees or enter in two different divisions, you will receive an email telling you to finalize your doubles payment or withdraw and re-enter in the same division. Once entries close, players who have not paid properly will be charged a $15 late fee on top of their balance due OR WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE EVENT.
