Frick Park Clay Court Tennis Club - an outstanding Community Tennis Association (CTA)
The Frick Park Clay Court Tennis Club, is a USTA CTA founded in 2007 and dedicated to revitalize, maintain, and improve the historic and unique red clay courts in Frick Park. Non-profit and volunteer-based, it organizes clinics, tournaments, and leagues for all ages, including the Frick Park Red Clay Junior Open (June 23-30, 2014) which hosted players from Madrid, Spain, as part of a new educational exchange program. USTA BOYS and GIRLS 8s SPECIFICATIONS FOR 36’ RED BALL
USTA 8&Under Regulations: Court Size 36’ x 18’ Net Height 2’9”. Racquet Size no longer than 23”. Red low compression ball. Each match is best two out of three games, each game is first to 7 points, with each player serving twice. Actual tournament ball will be Gamma Red (Felt). Draw Format: Round Robin with timed matches (all players at the same time on court). Fun and good tennis!

USTA BOYS AND GIRLS 10s SPECIFICATIONS FOR 60’ ORANGE BALL
USTA 10&Under Regulations: Court size of 60’ x 21’. Net Height 3’. Orange low compression ball (orange dot). Recommended racquet size 25 inches. Matches are 4-game sets, no-ad scoring (15, 30, 40, with a deciding point at 40-40), or best 2 of 3, 4-game sets, with a 7-pt tiebreak at 4-4. Saturday 10&u doubles is coed. Draw format for Saturday 10&Under Doubles is Round Robin or Team Doubles Round Robin (players assigned by lot to teams of four players, who will play every other team in a Round Robin - players can both bring their own partners, or have a partner assigned by lot. 4 player teams to be assembled by lot). Draw format for Sunday 10&Under Singles, Compass Draw (all players advance in one of four directions in the draw depending on their last match result).

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Friday, August 1, 2014 9:00:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
