2:00 Late Update with more posting to come
First, all consolation matches scheduled for today are cancelled and moved to a yet to be determined time on Saturday, Those times will be posted by 9:00 pm tonight. The following matches are scheduled for today as follows. At 3:30 pm 75 (Singles) 3 of the 4 singles matches 55 with the 4th match of Jeannie Maceachern & Works Match at 4:00 pm. along with 55 Doubles Quarters with Cindy LePrevost & Sheri Adler vs. Susan Love & Susan Boyer. Friday 12:00 Rain Update
Rain is slowly coming to a drizzle with anticipation of stopping within the next hour. We are going to make the next update at 2:00 pm at which time we will have been able to determine the drying of courts and give us a good indication of anticipated start times for all events scheduled today. At that 2:00 pm update, we will attempt, barring anymore rain to schedule matches with enough time for our Palm Beach, Miami, and Wellington participants to make a safe drive to club.

Currently, we are experiencing steady rain. As a result our next update will be at 12:00 pm. To be clear, the 12:00 pm update will only give current conditions and we will be giving all players ample warning of any potential start times to accommodate players who need time for travel to Club

Good Morning Players. Currently our courts are wet with more rain expected. We will have another update at 9:20. Understand that once we have a clear definition of weather/rain, and after the 9:20 AM update we will keep you informed of actual start times with ample notice to all.

Due to tournament administration error, a team was omitted in the 55 doubles. As a result, the draw was taken down, the omitted team added, and the draw was remade. Thank you for your understanding.

2020 USTA Category II Event
USTA Category II Event. Also selected by the USTA to earn ITF Grade 1 status in 2020.
Prize Money.
The Jabour Cup will be held at the Lauderdale Tennis Club, 600 Tennis Club Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33311. As Tournament Director, I would like to welcome all competitors to this years Jabour Cup. The Lauderdale Tennis Club shares a close proximity to fine dining, outstanding shopping and a wealth of recreational opportunities.
This year, we will have FICQ consolation in singles and FMLC in doubles. Coman Tiebreak is used for both singles and doubles. 10-Point Match Tie-Break will be used in all Singles & Doubles Consolation matches. There will be a Single-Elimination QUARTER-FINAL PLAYOFF in all events with sufficient entrants.
HEAD-PENN MARATHON BALLS WILL BE USED. Please note that there will be NO TOWEL SERVICE at this venue.
PLEASE ALLOW TIME FOR REQUIRED REGISTRATION! Registration is open Monday & Tuesday at 3pm - 5pm for early check-ins Wednesday 8:00 am and throughout the day. Registration can also be taken prior to first matches for players who may start later in the week. Please come early to do this.

USTA Super Category II Tournament (ITF Grade 1)
This tournament will receive USTA Super Category II and ITF Grade 1 ranking points per round won. (Please note, the ITF only ranks Men’s & Women’s 35-85 and over singles, doubles, and mixed. If you are playing in any other division, you will not earn ITF ranking points). In order to receive USTA ranking points for this tournament, a player must be a current USTA member. In order to receive ITF ranking points, a player must have a valid ITF IPIN BEFORE the start of the tournament. Players Ipin Requirement
It is required that all American players competing in 2020 USTA Category 1 and Super Category 2 events with ITF status register for an ITF IPIN. Registration with the ITF is now free from November 1st, 2019. Players must register at http://ipin.itftennis.com and click on ‘Sign up now’ to obtain an ITF IPIN number before the tournament begins.
