TThe Tyler Junior College Apaches swept all 9 flights to capture their 18th women’s tennis national championship and the school’s 59th overall. TJC Head Coach Dash Connell was named the Coach of the Tournament. Barton’s Neus Torregrosa was awarded the Jovana Vasic Spirit of Competition winner for the second consecutive year. She is pictured here receiving the trophy from Dr. Tim Drain, NJCAA Women’s Tennis Chair, and Wanda McPhail, NJCAA Women’s Tennis Hall of Fame member and retiring head coach at Meridian Community College.
