Please check your draws and your match times. Check in desk for all matches is at Rio Del Oro Racquet Club, 119 Scripps Drive, Sacramento CA 95825. Please check your draws and schedule frequently - there may be withdrawals that will affect your match times and there may be alternates placed in that may affect whom you play. Players are responsible for their match times and schedules.
Please be courteous to your opponents. If you can give timely notice for withdrawals that is always appreciated especially when players are coming from distances to play.
Remember the traffic to Sacramento can be awful at times. Give yourself plenty of travel time to make your match time if you are coming from outside the area. Lateness penalties will apply.
Let's hope for good playing weather and no delays. If the weather is not kind, please check the site for informational bulletins.If you think you can play your matches earlier and would like to do so, please check with your opponents first to make sure they are also free to do so. If both parties agree and if we have courts available, we will allow you to play earlier than scheduled. Remember that many players are playing both singles and doubles, and sometimes this manuever will simply not work. Also the courts are very booked up with matches, especially on Saturday morning and afternoon.

Welcome to the Rio del Oro NTRP/Open/Age tournament! This tournament is scheduled for one-weekend of play. The Open format will be the best of three tiebreak sets for all events. The NTRP and Age tournaments will use a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of the third set for all events. Players are limited to one singes event and one doubles event in total.
NTRP events will be limited to a 16-draw. If entries exceed the draw limit, please note that the tournament director may choose 25% of the entries for an event, and all other entrants are selected by random draw. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NTRP EVENTS WILL NOT START UNTIL SATURDAY!
Open singles will be limited to a 64-draw with Open doubles limited to a 32-draw. OPEN EVENTS MAY START ON FRIDAY.
Please enter on time. Late entrants may not be accepted.

All players participating in a USTA NorCal sanctioned NTRP tournament must have an NTRP rating. If you do not have an NTRP rating, please click "more info" to obtain a self-rating. more info

A player shall not be entered at the time entries close in two or more USTA sanctioned tournaments scheduled to take place at the same time, in whole or in part, unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation, concurs in writing, and each agrees to accommodate the player’s schedule. The final decision rests with each tournament committee. If one tournament agrees to accept concurrent entries and accommodate the player's schedule but the concurrent tournament does not, the player may not enter both. If entries for the overlapping tournaments close on different dates, approval must be received from all Tournament Committees no later than the entry closing date that occurs last. Players who enter a tournament and play it to completion, may then enter another tournament with overlapping dates without permission. If a player violates this concurrent tournament rule ranking points earned in any concurrent tournament played will not count toward ranking or the Grand Prix Points Race and the concurrent tournaments will not count toward the minimum tournament requirement to qualify for Grand Prix.
