TOURNAMENT FORMAT CHANGE NOTICE
Hello everyone, thank you for your overwhelming support of
this year’s Mike Anderson Memorial. Mike
would be proud to see so many players participating in what he loved so
much. The high number of players this
year has created “a terrible problem to have...", as someone put it…which means I
need to modify early round scoring, and eliminate the Consolation rounds. Without this we simply cannot complete the
Main Draw events.
After discussion with
USTA staff and fellow TD’s my decision (and this is MY decision) is all matches
in regular draws up to the Semi’s (plus our two round robin events, M3.0D and
Open Doubles), will be 8 game no-ad Pro-sets, with an hour time limit. This is a hard but necessary decision to give
us a chance to complete all of the events.
I’m sorry to implement this adjustment, I am
sick over it, but wanted to let you know so it isn’t a surprise later. I am reconstructing the draws under these new
guidelines to ensure they post before noon tomorrow.
Thank you for your
understanding and support of our PNW tennis community.

REFUNDS FOR NO 2ND MATCH
Good morning everyone. I obtained approval to refund 1/2 your entry fee for any event you do not get a 2nd match. I am posting draws this morning and will need to know by 12:00 if you still wish to withdraw. Once draws are posted I can only offer the half-back option for no 2nd match. Thanks, I hope this helps...Darrel
